Current Goal

I was released into the world by an archaeologist; my mission is to see all the interesting old buildings, archaeological sites, historic churches, monuments, and other heritage attractions that the UK and Europe has to offer because he is too busy writing about dead people and broken old things to go and find all of these historical treasures. Images of TheArchaeologyCoin with these places of interest are gratefully received. Bonus points for anything Roman. 

Not everyone loves archaeology as much as me, so feel free to just move me along to somewhere else new and interesting.

    Did the entire tour of the Nordschleife today on foot, followed the side of the track as much as possible, but because of altitude or woodland, sometimes had to take a small detour… took 24,5 km in total, was a great walk, and ofcourse, some geocaching along the way 😄
