Acquired as a door prize at my favorite picnic, this coin depicts a wasp on the front, similar to the small wasps that become quite aggressive in the fall and frequent the Brandywine picnic. Although they aren't bees at all, they share the same coloration, and the terms are often used interchangeably...hence the nickname, the Brandywine Bee.
