This travel bug is an unwritten story book. Its mission is to travel the world picking up additions to the story. When the story is done, the bug should return home to Tamacache in West Virginia, USA.

The Story Bug

The Story Bug is a story that you can add to. If you pick up the bug, read the story so far, and add a page or two before you pass it on to the next cacher. When it's done, I'll post the whole story and start the sequel! (Even though it starts in English, feel free to add to it in your native language if you want to.)

If you email me or put in your log the part of the story you wrote, I can archive it in case the bug gets lost or damaged. Also, if someone wouldn't mind emailing me the first page that I wrote, since I forgot to make a copy, I'd appreciate it.

The Story Bug came along for tokyotako's Cache #900. This one is destined to become a classic: A vertical PVC pipe with a tire valve at ground level. Well-mounted next to a tire inflation hose. Cache is a micro inside the PVC pipe and shoots out like a rocket or mortar round when the PVC pipe is "inflated". The Story Bug was not terribly impressed. (I was! - darn near lost an eye on this one.)

Just a quick (and very illegal) dash into Mexico on a muggle-free and wetback-free Monday morning. Sort of hard to envision wetbacks in the middle of the desert.
