About This Item

My father drove his motorhome from Phoenix, AZ to Alaska last year. One of his goals was to go north of the Arctic Circle. He accomplished his goal and to prove it brought back a piece of shale used to build the hiway. Our hope for this rock is to do some additional traveling, see the southern hemisphere and then return to it's origin in the north. Thanks for helping it on it's way. This TB was first placed in the Have Bug Will Travel Cache (N33 26.626 W111 58.940) at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2002)

    Well, I changed my mind, I found out that I actually may head back to Finland in January....

    Funny, I work for Finlandia Vodka in NYC, I didn't really read what the rock was about the first time I was here at Gateway, I may be heading back to Finland soon so I picked him up in anticipation of trip, meanwhile I will have him travel around with me for a bit I also added a Finlandia Vodka keychain to the bug.

    Interesting rock, I have been to the Arctic Circle in the Lapland of Finland, i do not think I will get back there anytime soon so I left the sucker in the TB for another
