Kürzlich beim Aufräumen fand ich diese alte Telefonkarte wieder.

Gekauft hatte ich sie vor 20 Jahren in einem unglaublich tollen Osterurlaub auf Kreta mit meiner besten Freundin - ich wohnte damals noch zu Hause bei meinen Eltern, sie war 300 km nach Osten zur Ausbildung gezogen. Damals, ein knappes Jahr nach dem Abi, hatten wir das Gefühl, die Welt liegt uns zu Füßen. Ausgehend von unserem Hotel in Chersonissos streiften wir durch Kreta. Das Abenteuer war unseres! 

Aus meinem Tagebuch damals: "SA 04.04.98 mit dem Flugzeug von Nürnberg nach Heraklion, von dort aus mit dem Bus nach Chersonissos -... MI 08.04.98 Heraklion ... -  DO 09.04.98 Agios Nikolaos und Elounda (Spinalonga) ... - FR 10.04.98 Knossos mit Führung, danach mit dem Auto durch Archanes ...Partira ... Kasteliana nach Tsoutsouros a. d. Südküste, entlang der Küste bis Keratokampos, zurück üb. Chondros ... Pangia ... nach Chersonissos (old), Abendessen in Koutouloufari ... -  SA 11.04. Vai -  SO 12.04. Ostern: Ostereier suchen am Pool ... MO 13.04. Imbros-Schlucht ... MI 15.04. ... Abendessen in Limenas Chersonissos DO 16.04. Strand, Pool, abends Poolparty ... SA 17.04. Heimflug Heraklion - Stuttgart" 

Heute, 20 Jahre später, hat sie an den Niederrhein geheiratet, ich wohne in der Stadt, in der wir einst Abi machten, wir sind beide Mütter und unsere Kinder beginnen alleine die Welt zu erobern - jeden Tag ein Stück mehr.

Not long ago while tidying up I found this old telephone card.

I bought it in April 20 years ago in an indescribable funny Easterholiday on Crete with my best friend - I still lived with my parents, she moved to a town 300 km east of our hometown. At that time, nearly a year after we finishes school, we thougt the world is ours. Starting in a hotel in Chersonissos we travelled around Crete. The adventure was ours!

During that holiday I wrote into my diary: Sat 04.04.98 by plane from Nuremberg to Heraklion, by bus to Chersonissos -... Today, 20 years later, she lives at Lower Rhine, I live in the town where we once finished school, we are both mothers and out childern startetd to discover the world by themselves - each day a bit more.
