Current Goal

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light...

I would like for this Guardian Bell to travel the world but I would like for it to avoid simple, easy to find caches. Dr. Paul Navar (Ghost Rider) took me on some grand adventures and they were never easy.

My wish is for this bell's journey to reflect that.  Difficulty or Terrain should be at least ***.

Good luck Little Bell!!

About This Item

Ghost Rider Guardian Bell

This little GUARDIAN BELL is a tribute to my late brother-in-law, Paul, who was an incredible human being - a doctor, a devoted husband and father, a pilot and an avid geocacher. He took me on my first geocache in the mountains of Utah and to this day, it is one of the greatest days of my life. Paul passed away 8 years ago on top of a mountain doing what he loved to do best: bicycling.

His geocache name was GHOST RIDER.

So in honor of my brother, I'm placing the Ghost Rider Guardian Bell in one of Paul's oldest caches in the Franklin Mountains outside of El Paso. My wish is for the bell to travel the world Banishing Evil and protecting geocachers as they journey from cache to cache.

Please take good care of this little bell and it will take care of you.

For Paul.

For GHOSTRIDER.

**Legend has it that evil road spirits have been latching themselves to motorcycles for as long as there have been bikes on the road. These evil road spirits are responsible for mechanical problems and bad luck along a journey.

Legend goes on to say that by attaching a small bell onto your bike, the evil road spirits will become trapped inside the bell where the constant ringing drives them insane, make them lose their grip until they fall to the ground.
