Current Goal

I maintain records on my trackables. They have the goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers. As of 10-Nov-22 this trackable had survived for 4.1 years and had been moved by 25 cachers, for an average drop every 59 days. Please keep it moving, then drop it in a safe place!

No permission is needed to leave the U.S. While in the U.S., please drop it in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and dry, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.

About This Item

This travel bug is made of one or more small decorative metal sprockets and washers.  It is one of a series of TBs named for tools or machines that have metal, composite or plastic cogs on sprockets, cogwheels or gears. Several kinds of motors are listed, but so also are machines that have cogs apart from their motors.

I drove here ( an hour each way from home) for a little premium caching country walk which promised several small containers. I was determined to drop at least one of these TBs, and really peeved when I found the small containers were wooden tree sections with micro sized holes drilled inside for the logs, so none were big enough !
