This trackable has the modest goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers.  That is a rate of five drops per year for five years, or a drop every 73 days.  As of 27-Jun-20 it had survived for 1.0 years and had been moved by 7 cachers, for an average release every 54 days.

No permission is needed to leave the U.S.  While in the U.S., please drop it in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security.  Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items.  Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.

This “Star” series of travel bugs is to bring attention to my favorite movie actors.  Some have awards, some do not.  There is no criterion to be included as a favorite beyond I will watch anything that has her/him in it.

Rene Marie Russo was born in Burbank, California in 1954).   Rene dropped out of school in the tenth grade.  In 1972, the 17-year-old was attending a Rolling Stones concert when she was approached by a scout from International Creative Management.  In a little more than a year she was a successful model, appearing on the cover of Vogue.  At age 30 she started studying acting first appearing regional theater then TV.  I noticed her in her first movie, Major League (1989).  She did a good job in the two Leathal Weapon films, and In The Line of Fire (1993) but she was great in the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair (1999).
