So..... in Lisbon the wine menu had 4 pages - sparkling, red, white and green. Green????

Yep - Vinho Verde is huge in Portugal - a DOC protected regional product. A young white wine - a little effervescent often. This wasn’t as nice as the first we tasted - but I’ll be looking for them back home.
