Shui Hu Zhuan (水滸傳, also known as Water Margin, Outlaws of the Marsh, All Men Are Brothers, and Suikoden) is the oldest of the Four Great Chinese Classics. It consolidates folk stories and history to tell the story of 108 bandits who gather together at Mount Liang in Liangshang Marsh, build an army to defend themselves against the Song Dynasty, and eventually are pardoned by the Emperor to fight invaders and rebels. Imagine a Chinese Robin Hood with over a hundred individual Merry Men. The image on the back is a famous moment from the book when Wu Song, after a night of drinking, fights a tiger and kills it with his bare hands.
