Als Bembel wird eine dickbauchige Steinzeugkanne bezeichnet, die in südhessischen Gaststätten zum Ausschenken von Apfelwein benutzt wird. Traditionell werden Bembel im Westerwald im Kannenbäckerland in Handarbeit hergestellt.

As Bembel a potbelly stoneware jug is called, which is used in South Hessian restaurants for the pouring of cider. Traditionally Bembel in the Westerwald in Kannenbäckerland are made by hand.
