Please take me back to the city where I belong! (Groningen, the Netherlands)
Nicknamed "d'olle grieze" ("the old grey one" in the dialect of Groningen), the Martinitower is an iconic landmark in Groningen, the Netherlands. It's the bell tower of the Martinichurch and standing 96,8 m (317 ft) it's the tallest tower in Groningen. Actually no building in the city is allowed to be build taller than the Martinitower.. It's the law!
On August 7, 2017 it started it's journey on Mt Olga in the beautiful Molly Stark State Park in South Vermont, USA. So long!
What's the iconic landmark of your hometown? We'd love to see pictures.
