About This Item

I received this as a Christmas gift from HAPPeMurphy. Growing up my brother liked to send us on a “treasure hunt” for one of our Christmas gifts. My younger sister and her family did the treasure hunt this year, with a twist – when I opened my gift, inside was a sheet of paper with cache coordinates!!! My handy-dandy GPS told me to go to their back yard near the swing set – and what should I find but the 2006 Compass Rose Coin engraved with my geocache sign!!The very coin that I tried in vane to buy last year but was not lucky enough to get one before they sold out!!! THANK YOU HAPPeMurphy!!!!

2nd of 24 today - out with HAPPeMurphy while I am in town on holiday. We thought we would come out and give this series a try. What a great series of caches!!! A good mix of sizes and hides. Just when you thought you knew what to look for, a curve ball was thrown!! I had my first experience with stinging nettles!! They are really nasty buggars! And unfortunately I didn't learn my lesson - had a run in with it a couple of times throughout the day! But I still had a great time! Fantastic day for caching! TNLNSL TFTC

Just when you thought you knew what to look for, a curve ball was thrown!! This one was one of the easier ones, we started caching at 8:15 AM and logged this one at 8:23 AM, not bad!! TNLNSL TFTC

Visiting from the USA. Found this after having lunch with my sister and brother-in-law at the Sun Inn nearby. Highly recommend the Steak Pie!! Very delicious!! This was a huge container!! Very interesting vegetation in the area - never seen bushes quite like those, and, yes, they can be sharp!! TNLNSL TFTC!

14th of 14 today!! In town/country visiting my sister and her family (HAPPeMurphy). We were both so close to milestones (500 for HAPPeMurphy and 600 for LJGolfer), that we thought we would resurrect a tradition. They got me hooked on caching a few years ago, and we were finding our milestones together at first. But then they moved over the pond and we have not been able to maintain the tradition, until now, hit the milestones yesterday, thought we'd come out and get some more today! This looked like an interesting series, so we gave it a try and we were not disappointed!! Full of history and some amazing views!!We found them all but one - not sure what happened to us at number 2, but no luck! Still enjoyed this amazing series!! Thanks!!! TNLNSL TFTC
