This is a replacement for my Bavaria geocoin, which is missing.
This consists of a photocopy of the coin's image, along with a metal washer glued inside a coin capsule to give it a nice weight and feel. I regret that it is a poor representation of the brilliant colors and craftsmanship of the original.
I'd had the good fortune to live in Bavaria for about 3 years and so was delighted when I came across the original coin. I especially liked the bright colors of the coin and its icon.
I still hope the original shows up some day, perhaps with tales of grand adventures.
