Current Goal

I want to travel to any military air bases that might have caches nearby. My ultimate goal is to visit air bases in the good old USA and around the world.

About This Item

This travel bug is being started in a cache near one of the finest military academies in the world. The U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. From there the Stealth Fighter wants to visit as many military air bases (that have caches nearby) as possible.

    Some how, this stelthy fighter found its way into my car while I was on vacation and ended up
    near Mather AFB in Sacramento. Since they would
    not give him clearance to taxi down their runway,
    we are going to have to find another way to fly.

    At first upon looking into the cache container- I didn't see the this TB. It's stealth qualitites are working just fine. I wonder where I'll take this fine piece of machinery.

    Took the neighborhood kids on a treasure hunt today to get them out of the house. Enjoyed the hike up this mountain as usual. We see it from our house everyday so it was fun to see the view from the other side. Will take the Stealth out to San Diego on business the end of June and hope to find a suitable cache for it there.

    Lakegirl and I retreived it from Key West on March 31 as a break from the drinking. Took the Stealth Travel bug. I'd like to report that on the way into Key West, we were greeted by a flight of 7 F-15s flying the perimeter of the island. Sure felt safe to see our boys up there in fully armed birds! Thanks to them, we all get to live the lives we'd like to here in America. Had a great trip. I'll choose a suitable location to place the Stealth and advance it's mission as a travel bug.

    Had a great lunchtime cache and picked up the Stealth. I will get my dad (USAFA Grad) to give him a tour of Peterson AFB and then send him on his way.
