Current Goal

I am a Deadly Duck named Lust. My 6 other Deadly Duck friends (Envy, Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, Pride and Wrath) and I have a Mission to see who can travel the furthest distance, so I need your help to keep me moving from Cache to Cache to beat the other Deadly Ducks. Plus, I want to travel the world and build lots of memories. I love having my photo taken while on my travels, and often look at the pictures in my gallery to remember all the lovely places and caches I have visited, courtesy of all you friendly, helpful Geocachers. Funny pictures are a great way to show my 6 friends that I'm having a lovely time.

Please keep me moving from Cache to Cache and as far and wide as you can take me. Placed, retrieved, taken to and discovered - I like it all. Thank you for showing me the world and helping me to beat the other 6 Deadly Ducks ...

About This Item

Deadly Ducks: LUST

It’s a Duck Eat Duck World Out There …

On August 30th 2001, Geocaching.com Founder, Jeremy Irish, activated the world's first trackable: TB1.

Jeremy said, “When we first started Travel Bugs, I released 7 Deadly Ducks in the wild.”

Each of the new trackables was based on one of the seven deadly sins. These Deadly Ducks, with the names of Envy, Sloth, Pride, Gluttony, Lust and Wrath, headed out into the world to travel from geocache to geocache. (The Greed Deadly Duck was placed in a geocache that was never listed on Geocaching.com and may still be hidden in Virginia.)

Thus began a game within a game: trackables. Today there are more than 2,655,951 trackables travelling around the world — making friends, creating memories and patiently waiting to complete their mission.

So, in honour of the world's first 7 trackables, we are releasing 7 of our own Deadly Ducks on their adventures in the world of Geocaching. In the gallery you can see all the 7 Deadly Ducks with their names: Envy, Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, Lust, Pride and Wrath ...

Hello! We retrieved your TB in cache GC8JGKG on 3/11/24 but the option “retrieve” was not available 😣
So I will try to drop it somewhere and log it but if you could unlock the option of retrieving and releasing, I could log it properly.
Cheers
