The mission of this duck is to remind you to enjoy life and not be a Sloth! It's easy to get caught up in the day to day routine of life where every day feels like the previous ones. We become lazy to our habits. Break out of your dule routines and try something new... This life has so much to offer- seek out new adventures and create new stories to share.
I celebrate my birthday for four weeks- two weeks prior and two weeks after. I started enjoying my extended birthday in my mid 20s (mid 40s now) with one goal in mind- to encourage myself to try new things and have new experiences for four weeks.
It was during these adventurous moments that I found whiskey, scotch and bourbon. I discovered the joys of volunteering at events, fundraising and being a part of something bigger than myself. My taste buds thank me for giving them the flavorful savors of Pho, Chai Tea, and Jambalaya. New hobbies such as hand drumming and photography.
If there’s one thing I can share with you, I would say: don’t be a Sloth. Fight being lazy. Fight being reluctant to try new experience.
Get out there and enjoy life!
