From previous logs it seems there are several versions of this TB. This one is now marked "A". As you can see in the photo, it has both halves of the baseball (one version is said to be missing half), but the two are broken apart. Someone please mark the others, "B", "C", etc.

Found a version of the "Baseball Furies" in the Sibley cache right were the log said it was. The "tag" is laminated paper, not metal. Both halves of the baseball are still with this TB, but broken apart. At least one other "Baseball Furies" is traveling in Germany with both halves of the ball still intact. It looks like there might be a third traveling in the US with half the ball missing.

That all makes the 100000 km total not too meaningful.

One of the weirder bugs I've had.
