    My parents live on Spruce Head but have never been to Cod End.
    My brother built the walk in cooler in the adjacent store "The Port Clyde General Store.." Which is really where the coin had resided, Port Clyde.. not Spruce Head.
    Bit of info... The Port Clyde General Store is now owned by Linda Bean, Granddaughter of the famous L.L. of mail order fame..
    Check out her lobster company now.

    SkinGuy reached his goal!!! This was a real treat as the food here at the Cod End was outstanding! The service was great too! My family has started a new tradition: A trip to the Cod End Restaurant every time we visit Maine! SkinGuy was placed in a nearby cache after enjoying dinner with us on the pier!     Kordite gave this to me today at WWFM 5: Snow in Station Square when he learned that DD and I are headed to New England soon.. It's interesting that he picked it up in Chicago over Easter -- DD and I were coincidentally in Chicago at the same time. When we were there I stopped a passerby to take our photo at a fountain and I said "you look familiar." It was Kordite -- from Pittsburgh. What are the odds!?
