Current Goal

When we placed this travel bug we were not 100% sure what we wanted his mission to be. Because he was originally placed the Vineland Pit Stop Cache we decided that his mission should have something to do with automobiles. Therefore, Furby_Bird’s mission is to travel to as many caches as possible and whenever possible submit a photo of Furby_Bird with your vehicle. Furby_Bird LOVES Corvettes, as his owner drives two – a 1979 Stingray & a 1989 Shark. If you can get a photo of Furby_Bird with a corvette that’s an ADDED BONUS. After traveling around Furby_Bird would like to return home for the winter. If it is possible for Furby_Bird to return we will look for him at the starting point of his journeys - Vineland Pit Stop Cache by Mickey225 & Mopar (N 39° 26.273 W 075° 02.899) in October of 2004. If Furby_Bird has traveled to far away by this time to return home please allow him to continue his journey collecting pictures of cars and have him write home.

About This Item

Furby_Bird

This is a blue Furby, whom we decided to name Furby_Bird after its owner Dirty_Bird. Furby_Bird likes to travel and has a handy carrying hook attached to him so that he can easily tag along with you to your next cache. The interesting thing about Furby_Bird is that his eyes glow in the dark. Have fun with him.

Found a note in my bag that I saw this one some time ago. I don't know when or where, but had the number written on a scrap of paper in my caching bag. So I'm late, but I discovered it.

We were contacted by Furby's owner whom asked us to mail Furby back to him because his daughter is doing a report in school on travel bugs and Geocaching. Of course we happily did so, but at this time we are unsure whether The BIRD will be returning to Washington State, enter retirement or be placed in a cache near where he started.
Will update as info is available

Oh, sorry little Furby.. I don't have a Corvette, I only have an Opel Astra (which one probably shouldn't mention in the same sentence as Corvette.. 😉)
