Current Goal

The mission of this object is to splice the main brace with you as often as possible. Take the admiral and have a beverage (shot of rum would be traditional, but whatever you like) with him, and may be take a picture with him for posting in the ship's log. The Admiral would really like to visit with soldiers and sailors, but is happy to visit any port.

About This Item

This is a genuine Admiral rank shoulder flash from the Canadian Navy. There is no rank higher than this in the Canadian military, and the wearer of this rank badge would be the Chief of the Defence Staff and thus commander of the Canadian Forces. At the time of launching this TB, the Chief of the Defence Staff is an Air Force General (4 leaves like this one, but light blue).

"Hail to the Chief" jumps on board the Thomas E. Laighton, headed for Star Island, one of a group of islands 10 miles off the coast of NH called the Isles of Shoals. There is no cache out here because it is a privately owned, by the Unitarian Church, but it's a great summer day trip! The ferry will be dropping everyone off for a four hour tour of the island and come back at 3:00 PM to pick everyone up for the return trip back to Portsmouth. But, in the mean time... a good opportunity to check out the rum at the Tiki Bar...!
