About This Item

AMTG Grail Sword GC 1

Mid size coin with heft. Unusual shape. This coin has excellent delicate 3-D work as well as having the sword extend beyond the coin rim. The font medallion shows the grail and has stylized script that reads  "The quest begins Denbighshire cache event 2006". The background texture is actually extremely detailed 3-D work. The coin has a double rim .  The inside has matte red enamel.  The reverse shose an ammo box with the words "the ultimate quest" on it. The ammo box is open and it spills over with coins.  The same style script (as the front) reads "Knights of the Ammo Box" This side continues the exquisite 3-D work that is even found on the sword hilt. The rim is also double with the same red matte enamel.  Additional enamel is slight and located on the center medallion,  The photos do not do this coin justice. One of the best designed and exicuted 2006 coins I have seen anywhere.   -------------------------------So many of my GCs have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. GR

Does this mean we've found the Holy Grail or is it the Sword of Excalibu? Anyway, this is a great coin. Thank you for sharing your coin collection with us and for allowing us to discover your wonderful coin.
