Happy New Year gstroop3595!!! We were out today for a First Day Hike on the Big Bluff Trail at Bull Shoals State Park. There were about 40 hardy souls on the hike with the Park Naturalist, and after the 2 mile hike, we were all treated to hot Dutch Oven cherry cobbler made by the Park staff. Not a bad way to start the New Year. After the cobbler we decided to do a bit more hiking to work off a few calories on the nearby mountain bike trails. found 2 caches and this TB was in MrsBCT Kids cache, and looked lonely like it wanted to move a bit. So we'll travel around a bit, and drop it off soon. If it wasn't so early in the year, we'd take it on our travels to New Mexico. We will be the campground hosts for the summer at Jemez Falls Campground in the Santa Fe National Forest. Hope you all had a nice Christmas and New Years Day.
