To commemorate the "EPIC ROAD TRIP TO 2000" in October, 2016
One CacheMom, two CacheTeens, seven days, 15 states, 18 webcams, 1 Mega, and the 2000 milestone. We left Michigan in drizzly rain but not cold weather. We found some oldies, some earthcaches, some virtuals, and even a few puzzles in addition to traditionals along the way. We marveled at Niagara falls. We found a blizzard on a mountain in Vermont. We stopped at Stephen King's house in Bangor, Maine. We wandered the beach in Cape Cod. We struggled to escape Boston. We played in a haunted village in New Jersey and found Waldo for the second time there too! We wandered the boardwalk in Delaware. We visited Washington DC where we had to wait for the President to pass by on his way back to the white house. We spent Halloween night wandering the cemeteries and battlefields of Gettysburg. We took turns sleeping, driving, and navigating. We laughed, we talked, we growled sometimes. Most of all, we made memories worth cherishing. This coin reminded me of the trip so I had to have it!
