My wish is to travel around the globe visiting beautiful places with the help of friendly geocachers. If it ever manages to visit Egypt, I will greatly appreciate it.
Please, don't keep me, help me travel on!
In Greek mythology, Helen of Troy, (Ancient Greek: Ἑλένη Helénē, pronounced [helénɛː]), also known as beautiful Helen, was said to have been the most beautiful woman in the world. She was believed to have been the daughter of Zeus and Leda.
The usual tradition is that after the goddess Aphrodite promised her to Paris, she was seduced by him and carried off to Troy. This resulted in the Trojan War, which Homer sang in his epic poem Iliad. Her beauty inspired artists of all times to represent her, frequently as the personification of ideal human beauty.
This TB is dedicated to another beautiful Helen, my mother, now 90 years old, who used to be admired in her youth for her beauty. The attached part used to be a part of a jewellery piece.
