The forest is a long distance from my home, so I stopped about half way at a little park in Wiarton. There is a statue of Wiarton Willie where the 2 travel bugs posed. The real living groundhog lives close by in a protected display. There is a big festival every February 2 to see if the groundhog will see his shadow or not.

All along the road to the cache, people have hung up their old stuffed animal toys on the trees...it is funny to see how many are there. The travel bugs posed with a snake. The other photo shows a fish and a bear.

The Giant rubber duck is 6 stories tall and filled with air. It is visiting various cities in Ontario as part of the 150th Birthday of Canada celebrations. It was located in the inner harbour, further inland than the event. Most of the geocachers visited the rubber duck the night before or after the event. Silly fun for everyone!
