    May 29, 2007: Sorry we've been holding this one but we have a trip to SD planned in a couple of weeks. Thought we'd take it with us since it's never been there. If you'd like us to drop it sooner, let us know. If not we'll get some miles on it during the drive to South Dakota.

    A cold and snowy day blanketed a lake occupied by a very angry beaver. Slap. slap. slap. The beaver's tail pounded the water for each intruding member of our party.

    No wonder the Happy White Bear ditched its camoflage and scrambled into our pack. Probably didn't like the vibes emitting from the territorial mammal.

    White Bear is now free from that karma and making its way to a happy place near you.
