Commemorating my 1,000th geocache. Found the oldest geocache in the world, Mingo. Especially want to thank two geocache friends, Sought and Found, who taught me geocaching and PlantStrong who presented me with this coin. Wish they could have been with me to find Mingo.

Spotted on New Year’s Eve 2017 as we joined hiking2175 on a very special milestone cache find. Thanks and congratulations!
Tracking my collectible across the USA. Hope to reach the Atlantic Ocean before the end of the year.
Great park for a visit and a geocache. Dropped by here with the kids. Found it together.
West coast of the USA! 🇺🇸 Have traveled with this geocoin commemorating my 1,000th find from Mingo, where I activated the medallion, in western Kansas to the Pacific Ocean. Soon, hopefully, it will visit the east coast as well.
Summited on Whitney and logged two geocaches but couldn't find the third. Quite an excursion to get up here. Began on Saturday afternoon by hiking to Lone Pine Lake where we camped. Second day we camped at Trail Camp, 12,000'. Third day we summited and returned to Trail Camp. Fourth day was a leisurely hike out to Whitney Portal. This itinerary worked well. Some people do all of that in one day. Not for me. Enjoyed the views, trail and challenge. Fun to have a geocache on top as a reward.
Had quite a hike up the sub-Dome of Half Dome, itself a rather striking challenge. Didn't continue up the cables to the summit - did that years ago already. Once was enough. Enjoyed the visit.
Finding geocaches in a cross country drive.
Enjoying my multi-state geocaching adventure from Georgia. Finding Mingo as my 1,000th geocache is awesome. Found it June 21, 2017.
