The Travel Bugs enjoyed the view from thier First Class seats as they flew from Chicago over Quebec, Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland and into Amsterdam for a layover. Leaving Amsterdam they flew over Germany, Prague CZ, Budapest Hungary, Bucharest Romania, Bulgaria, Istanbul Turkey, the Black Sea, Bagdad, Kuwait, the edge of Saudi Arabia into Bahrain.
If you plot this on a map, it appears the flights formed a big arc. We wonder if anyone in the class can explain why the plane would take this route?
