Current Goal

Annie Gator is off to find other gator's. This travel bug has been released by a staff memeber of the Annie Wright School in Tacoma WA. We are the home of the Gators and our lower school newspaper is called the Gator Gazette. There is a school in Newfoundland - Acreman Elementary, located in Green's Harbour, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, which shares the gator as a mascot and has a newspaper called the Gator Gazette. Annie would like to visit this school. When she gets there she should take a picture and post it.

About This Item

Annie is a green plastic alligator, she has a book about alligators/crocodiles attached to her. I don't expect that will stay with her too long.

MaxB’s Tour Group visited Holland Windmills within hours of arriving in Europe. They raced their way into Belgium where they visited the Belgian Grand Prix track. They climbed to a cache near the highest point in Luxembourg. There was a stop in Germany before heading back to the Netherlands and the North Sea.

The Travel Bugs enjoyed the view from thier First Class seats as they flew from Chicago over Quebec, Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland and into Amsterdam for a layover. Leaving Amsterdam they flew over Germany, Prague CZ, Budapest Hungary, Bucharest Romania, Bulgaria, Istanbul Turkey, the Black Sea, Bagdad, Kuwait, the edge of Saudi Arabia into Bahrain.

If you plot this on a map, it appears the flights formed a big arc. We wonder if anyone in the class can explain why the plane would take this route?
