Road Cyclist on the road!

Road Cyclist rides a bicycle with skinny tires and wears those funny shoes that are hard to walk in. He prefers to travel to caches that are located in city parks or are within a half mile of paved roads or trails. He dislikes caches next to busy freeways or those that require hiking in for miles over rocky terrain.

Road Cyclist loves everything that has to do with bicycles. He especially enjoys going to organized bicycle rides, bicycle rallies, bicycle races, bicycle shops, etc. Take a picture of him enjoying himself with other bicycles and / or other cyclists if you can.

Dulcimer Festival... It was Great!
My wife and I love to Mountain Bike... We do
alot of Rail Trails.. And will Take him along on

  • The general layout of my new cache. After a long stay over with MattieDale, due to a crushing winter storm and some much need time in the bike shop, I am now sitting along side the south-west section of a bike trail that will eventually run from Cincinnati to Cleveland and it is all railroad grade.
  • You are here. Took this one in case I get lost or someone wants to find me for a ride on the trail.
  • The trail looking south This is part of the trail looking south.
  • The trail looking north. This is from the same point looking north. Check out the nice arched bridke of the 3-C Highway in the back ground over the Little Miami river.
  • Senic views This area of the trail has a lot of senic cascades. This is just one of them.
  • Typical road crossing and bgidge. This is typical road <groan> crossing we had to deal with. Like I said, it is railroad grade, note the trail bridge which is an authintic Pensy RR bridge with a somewhat bumpy wood deck for us cyclist.

Picked it up from the Burnet Woods park. I am gonna take the bike into the shop for a tune up. The rider says he's ok and is ready to go. I'll try to set him off on the Little Miami bike trail in the next few days.
