About This Item

My Lola was born in The Philippines on October 28, 1936. Her name was Monica. She was very small in stature, but was very strong and bold and charismatic. She'd moved, with my Lolo and their seven children to Tacoma, Washington in 1967. She worked at St. Joseph's hospital as the person who sterialized medical and surgical equipment until she retired in the early 1990's. Monica passed away May 2nd 2017. She's well loved, and she loved all. She was very passionate, sharp as a tack, opinionated, intelligent, kind, intense, easy going, very family oriented and totally selfless. She will be missed. Mahal Kita!
