This coin is to discover as many UNEXPECTED places, caches, events, situations as possible while travelling as many miles as it can. Pictures of the UNEXPECTED would be great!
We earned this coin by completing a wonderful challenge. Did the North Alabama Dash of the Unexpected geotour with fellow cachers and good friends 2Wolfes during a 4 day trip to Alabama. We had such a great time and, indeed, saw a lot of UNEXPECTED places. 3 potteries, 1 glasblowing shop, lots of neat Civil War places, botanical garden, awesome monuments, and LOTS cool places that had a great view.
