About This Item

...and a weigh we go

The '..and a weigh we go' travel bug is a Zebco Deliar 228 fishing scale and ruler. I retrieved the scale in a trade from a cache along the Ice Age trail in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, Southern Unit in Wisconsin, USA. The cache was at the top of a hill, and while looking at the scenery, inspiration struck and I decided to turn it into a travel bug. I just about busted a gut laughing at the pun of the name, but I went ahead and did it. With a nod to Mr. Gleason, I hope it travels well and goes fishing a lot.

Isabella and I tried our luck fishing from the dock in Puerto Penasoc (Rocky Point) Mexico. We saw tons of fish, pretty big too, but they didn't seem to be interested in the squid we were using.

Later we found out that the fish were vegetarians. Algae eaters. Nothing to weigh today...
