    I dropped off the CITO Coin at Georgian Bay Islands, National Park :) A week in the gorgeous Ontario wilderness. Absolutely great campsites here, and many different types of sites, like waterfront, or rocky Canadian Shield, or backwoods. There are busy campsites, but also very private sites as well. There are tonnes of trails, too. And if you're a fan of "glamping", there are many cabins / tent cabins available, too.

    • Boating to Beausoliel Island/Georgian Bay Islands Onward to the Island for camping adventures!
    • Campsite with a View Set up camp, and.. what a nice view! This was at Honeymoon Bay campsite.. though I would advise to only pick this Northern area only if the weather is warm and ideal, as we got stuck with high winds and rain.. the area is exposed to open water, not like the rest of the island..!
    • View from the Fairy Trail The Fairy Trail is maybe the best trail on the island.
    • Fairy Trail This trail rocks!
    • Maybe rocks aren't your thing.. Many woodland trails, too!
    • O-Tent-ix We most certainly did not stay in one of these... but uhh.. how cute! Pricier than tent camping, but not as pricey as the full cabins. These A-Framed bunk houses are new, and look quite comfy!
    • Sleepy Turtle Found on one of the trails :)
    • Provincial Flower Ontario Trilliums can be found all over the island. This was taken at Cedar Springs campground.
    • Eastern Hognose Snake Almost stepped on this basking little squiggle!
    • Hognose on the Fairy Trail Another cool spot on the Fairy Trail. We loved this trail!!
    • Here lies the resting place of some of the original First Nation's inhabitants of the the island, before it was turned into a National Park in 1929. In the 1920s the remaining peoples who lived on the island were relocated to nearby Christian Island. This is where I dropped your CITO coin :)
