Current Goal

Sometimes I see a TB with a goal of getting somewhere far away and think if I could just send it to a cacher there it would get to the goal really fast. Well I know this is usually looked down upon. But not in this case. Put this guy in a cache if you want, but feel free and encouraged to mail him off to another cacher. Make sure you log it into at least one cache if he's sent to you so you'll get recorded on the map.

About This Item

This is a little model of the SR-71 Blackbird that I got from a cache. This is my favorite plane of all time that set many speed records that it still holds, including New York to London in under 2 hours. This plane could really move and encouraging the TB to go through the mail, the TB should too.

The Fast Moving TB flew across the pond the other day and landed at Sembach Air Base in Germany. Just now getting around to logging it, but it is in good hands and is waiting to be refueled for it's flight back to the States where it will be landing at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado.

Mondo TB! Before I re-fuel it, I'll try to take a pic of it alongside one of its fellow flying machines located here at Shaw Air Force Base. Since travelling fast and far is this TB's mission, I plan to send it on its way to Germany soon, where it will land in the hands of, appropriately, Air Force personnel stationed there.

Off we go into the wild blue yonder,
    Climbing high into the sun.
Here they come zooming to meet our thunder,
At 'em boys, Give 'er the gun!
Down we dive, spouting our flame from under,
    Off with one helluva roar!
We live in fame or go down in flame.
Nothing'll stop the U.S. Air Force!

    • Ready to fly... Last stop before zipping off to Germany; shown with a fleet (herd? gaggle?) of F-16s at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina.
