Current Goal

This trackable is named after our dog Retu, an energetic springerspaniel we got in 2013. Retu has accompanied us to many caches and is always happy to go outdoors whether it is walking, running or hiking in the forests. He is crazy about swimming and doesn't hesitate to jump into any puddle he can spot.
Retu would like to meet as many other dogs as possible - and is eager to see their pictures in the gallery. The big dream of Retu is to travel to San Francisco and to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Would that dream come true? After that he could return to the Finnish forests...

 

 

About This Item

Retu the dog

When travelling abroad, Retu can seldom come with us, only if we take a ferry and bring a car along. Luckily he can now make virtual tours with this trackable. We live in Southern Finland and nowadays do geocaching mostly when we travel. In earlier years, when the kids were younger, we used to do hikes just to find geocaches. We have also placed 3 geocaches in a park some 5 kms away from where we live.

Picked this TB up when we visited the Castle. Two days after we met the owner when we visited another castle nerby. Nice meeting. I will bring the dog to Sweden.

Retu is a springerspaniel living in Finland. His dream is to travel to San Francisco but that is practically not possible. Therefore this little TB dog is willing to travel there. His journey starts in Alicante where his family is spending the Xmas holiday. Unfortunately, Retu had to stay home this time as well.
After visiting San Francisco Retu would like to return to Finland...
