“University of Nebraska Travel Key Chain” is now ready to conquer one or more of the universities of the peninsula of Jylland. Close by is The University of Syddansk Universitet. This university is located as a conglomerate in different cities. Among them is the city of Kolding where the TB resides now. Another possibility is the University of Aarhus.

In the immediate surroundings of this location don’t miss out the public playground if bringing kids. But do by all means do miss the hotel! Details in the English summary here: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=1bf8f05e-efce-4c5e-9c93-ec417be9273c

VISITING IT UNIVERITY OF COPENHAGEN
The Information Technology University of Copenhagen was established in 1999. It was made to accommodate the huge demand for workers with higher computer skills. The prevalent computer sciences simply did not produce enough candidates to fulfil the needs of the Danish companies.
The political solution was to create a brand new education with many more students attending and a much higher throughput: For admission you need to present a bachelor degree – not in computer science or information technology – but in any subject what so ever. The IT University then tops your former education off with 2 years of computer related skills giving you a Master degree.

THE PICTURE
The new building in Ørestad was opened in July 2004. The IT University is famous for its characteristic atrium where the conference rooms hang completely off the walls as cubicles; so everybody in the atrium can see what those in meeting are doing.
In the picture TB “University of Nebraska Travel Key Chain” is visiting the inside of the IT University viewing the cubicles construction. The coordinates given above are measured outside by the main entrance. More information on the building may be found in the links below. The animation of the atrium with the cubicles is really worth seeing.
The building is drawn by Henning Larsen whom also recently made the new Danish opera house. You may visit this building along with TB “Leon the schwaebisch Bauigel” in my comprehensive geocaching-description here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/log.aspx?LUID=af3b402e-3ec3-47cb-a802-307b1c7a8fad .

POSTSCRIPT
No I have nothing to do with the IT University; what so ever. However I’ve already covered the old historic University of Copenhagen (founded in 1474) in a big geocaching-article when TB “student´s survival kit” recently passed by my hands. So that was taken. See that story here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/log.aspx?LUID=817c9821-c252-4683-b63c-19b9e1da0a36
Further more; the “Nebraska Travel Key Chain” TB has already visited it in the log of October 9th 2004.
