Memories of Wanaka #05

This Geocoin likes travelling. Please help him to travel the world. His final goal is to arrive in the beautiful city of Wanaka on New Zealands south island.

Once arrived in Wanaka, he would like to take a photo with the famous Wanaka tree which is also shown on the coin. After that, he would like to find a resting place in a Geocache in or around Wanaka.

Back in 2015, we travelled all over New Zealand and fell particularly in love with the beautiful city of Wanaka with it's big lake in front of a backdrop of mountains with almost desert-like areas on the other side. Thinking of Wanaka invokes romanticised memories and feelings of Wanderlust for us.

Since we are back home now, it's not that easy to get back to Wanaka on a regular basis. There are more places to be travelled to, other parts of the world to be seen. But still, Wanaka ranks among the most beatiful places we've seen. There's absolutely no question that we will return to Wanaka sooner or later. But while we are back home or off in the world doing other things, we would like to send a token of our regards to Wanaka. This coin is the physical represantation of that token. 

We would love for this coin to get to Wanaka and have people taking their photos with this coin in front of the Wanaka tree. Knowing that this coin has made it to Wanaka, resting in a Geocache around the city will leave us no other choice than to travel to Wanaka ourselfs and look for our coin.
