If you pick up a geocoin or travel bug, realize that someone has spent money, time, and effort to share a little geocaching fun with you. Please do the honorable thing and safeguard it from being lost at an event, at home, or in the bottom of a caching bag.
Please put it in a cache (any cache, even the one in which you found it) within a reasonable time. (Within two weeks, if possible.)
This is a replacement for my charliewhiskey's 2008 Groundspeak Volunteer Geocoin, which is missing.
This consists of a photocopy of the coin's image, along with a metal washer glued inside a coin capsule to give it a nice weight and feel. I regret that it is a poor representation of the brilliant colors and craftsmanship of the original.
I love to collect icons for new and different coins, so I thought I would return the favor by sending out a few coins myself. I like this coin's unique shape, and I can appreciate the sentiments behind its creation. (Refer to Geocaching.com Admin Brick)
