GeoTrail with Mountain Warehouse Photo Competition. For entrants in UK, Canada, US, Poland and Germany aged under 18 under supervision of parental guidance and 18 and over. Excluding employees from Mountain Warehouse and Groundspeak, Inc. DBA Geocaching (“Geocaching”). Entry opens Tuesday 13th June 2017 and closes midnight Friday 1st September 2017. Entrants must take a photo with animal trackable and share using #MWGeoTrail #contestant on social media channels. Images must be original work and meet criteria to be eligle to win.     Well that was an abrupt end to my little Geocaching county collecting holiday. Swapped my hotel for a hospital. Thanks to the the NHS for enabling me to keep on caching. I knew there was a reason I’d avoided the West Midlands all this time - I’m allergic to it. Back in London and an event was convenient my latest medical appointment. Priorities…! 🫁

    And now onto Birmingham, the UK’s second city by population and somewhere I've never been to in my 13 years here. A little bit remiss. I’ve got two days here so spent today wandering around looking at the Earthcaches and enjoying the sunshine. 🌎

    Next stop on my journey was Coventry so now my regions map of the UK is all filled in. Just a billion counties to go on that map now. Visited the ruins of the WWII bombed cathedral and noticed Coventry Univerity’s Freshers’ Week (O-Week for Australians) was going strong across the road. Walked past that to relive great memories and even saw their Mountaineering Club heading to the pub. CuteOtter still doesn’t start for a few weeks. 💃

    Looking at my maps, I saw that I was missing Northampton county and the West Midlands region. Jumped at the chance of a nice little whistle stop break. Left London in the pouring rain and the first stop was Northampton where I was also able to return a Travel Bug to its home. 🐛
