Current Goal

I would like for him to outdo his brother Celtic Camper in the traveling department. I want him to see every continent, that's why I have gone to start him off in Antarctica. Many photos would be greatly appreciated, the more the better!

About This Item

Stampy's Seeker has a hitchhiker from New Mexico so that he won't feel lonely. Take good care of them, keep him healthy and clean. After his rough start in the frozen tundra of Antarctica, he'll probably need plenty of warm soup and tea to thaw him out.

It appears as if Seeker seeks no more. I do not know any way to list it as lost but will send a note to the site to ask them to reclassify it. Thanks to everyone who helped him along

This TB was not in Jake's Paw. Maybe you can change it to "Unknown" location.

From a forest in Paris, France to a forest in Houston, Texas. We said "Bon Voyage" to our little ami! We kissed him on both cheeks and place him in his new temorary home.

We will miss him, and we wish him safe travels back to his home!

Bon Jour, Team Omega found Stampy resting in a Paris forest. We saw that he wanted to get home by June 2004 (is that New Mexico??). Thinking that it is, we took him and have brought him back to Houston, Texas.

He is in safe hands and is being well cared after!

Stampy's Seeker is proud to inform you that he has recently visited two new cities: St Petersburg, Russia and Paris, France. He had truly enjoyed being in St. Petersburg and would recommend any bears (mishas, in russian) to come visit that beautiful city - especially during the months of june and july - time of the white nights...

Unfortunately, in Russia he couldn't find a nice bear hole to last a winter (winters are very cold in Russia), so he hopped on a plane and in about 3.5 hours found himself in Paris, France. There he had visited the Louvre museum and climbed the Eiffel tower.

So now Stampy's Seeker is staying in a typical european cramped hotel for travel bugs. If you have stayed in hotels in Europe you would understand what he means. So he would gladly move on to some other place. Please, if you have any sense of comraderie, take him out of there and bring him to another continent (as his goal is to travel through all continents)

He also misses his good friend - the Bear of Liberty. And he really wants to meet his dear friend again. So if anyone meets the Bear of Liberty, please tell her that Stampy's Seeker remembers her from the Yosemite cache (where they have had good cache times together) and hopes to cache with her again.

On the way back from Yosemite, Pickles handed Stampy's Seeker over to Misha, who will take him to St. Petersburg, Russia. Will try to take pictures, there are many beautiful European caches in St. Petersburg.

I was again freed on a beautiful sunny California day. While humans that liberated me from the tupperware prison were busy writing in the log, I sat down with a fellow Travel Bug they had brought. He said his name was the Bear of Liberty and that he, too, had a mission. His mission is to get his picture taken with as many national monuments and other famous landmarks as he possibly can. While we sat there and chatted about bear stuff, we asked one of the humans to take a picture of the two of us. Imagine, two bears passing in the woods. And yes, one of us did sh** while we were there. What can you do? We're bears.

After a while passed, we said our goodbyes and my new friend was placed in the tupperware, waiting for his next journey. I will miss the Bear of Liberty, but something tells me our paths will cross again in the future.

Something tells me I should find my winter coat again. Before I was whisked away in a backpack, I remember hearing the humans saying something about a trip to Russia...

  • Two Bears Passing in the Woods What a view! I'm glad I could take it in with my new friend.
