About This Item

On May 1, 1999, Larry and I were in a car accident. Larry was flown to St. Vincent's in Erie, PA. He spent 6 1/2 weeks in a full coma and another 6 monthes in a semi-vegatative state in two different nursing facilities. Larry is still under medical care at one of these facilities and still has a lust for life. At this time he is unable to travel far without difficulty so he and I decided that a travel bug bearing his name will do for now.

  • MeatballMatt, Larry Bova, and the USS New Jersey My Cub Scout Pack (Pack 495 from Ellicott City, MD) spend the night on the USS New Jersey. Dad and I geocached the next morning on the Camden waterfront. We thought Larry Bova would want to see the ship, even though there weren't any caches big enough to hold him.

Next week, the Cub Scouts are camping on the USS New Jersey in Camden, NJ. There are a couple of caches in the park right next to the battleship, so I think we'll have a good shot at getting some pictures and moving this TB along.
