What an impressive place! I've had a quick wander around but I think I need to spend much longer to appreciate the details. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Graeme for my little stroll around this interesting location. Its nice to get out and about in these strange times and unusually there was almost no problem with crowds ! Never been to Pompeii (unlike you) but maybe in years to come,,,

Thank you for setting up and sharing this fabulous tour of Herculaneum, which brought back lots of happy memories of my visit there before geocaching. I especially appreciated the links to the extra pictures.

Yesterday I did the Herculaneum virtual tour. Beautiful place to visit again. Pompeii was known to me but I did not know Herculaneum.
Thanks Carole and Graeme for luring me 'virtually' to this place.

While Staying-Safe-At-Home in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia it was wonderful to travel to Herculaneum for a Virtual Holiday. I visited Pompeii about 30 years ago and my husband made a return visit 12 months ago with our son, who was studying in England last year.
Thank you GCZ Team for organising this tour. I enjoyed escaping from cold, wintery Melbourne for a few hours.

This really has been a great tour. Never heard of the Herulaneum, where Pompei is well known.
Thank you for offering me this look around.

Well that was “virtually“ the most geocaching fun we are allowed to have at the moment as we are currently one week into 6 weeks of our second go at “stay at home” restrictions . Loved the tour, definitely a bucket list place for us...one day....but today I got a taster of what to expect! Thank you for setting these up, I think I will be working my way through the other tours over the coming weeks! Greetings from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

I went about 6 years ago to Herculaneum whilst staying at nearby Sorrento. Travelled on a train to Erculano with afternoon tea served on board the train on the way back. A very enjoyable day. This virtual tour brought back a few memories. Thanks for setting this virtual tour.
