Mission Overview: This trackable is a vibrant Canadian flag that wishes to explore and celebrate the diverse landscapes, historic sites, and cultural landmarks of Canada. Its mission is to travel from the eastern shores of Newfoundland and Labrador to the western edges of British Columbia, and possibly even up to the northern territories, collecting stories and photos that showcase the nation’s pride and beauty.
Objectives:
- Provincial Capitals Tour: The flag should aim to visit the capital city of each Canadian province and territory. In each capital, it should be photographed near a notable landmark, such as a parliament building, historic site, or unique natural feature.
- Cultural Landmarks: Seek to place the flag in geocaches located near sites that are of cultural significance, such as national parks, monuments, famous museums, and cultural festivals.
- Capture Memories: Take photographs of it at these significant sites, and to share a bit about what makes these places special
- Share Canadian Pride: Add a note about what makes you proud of Canada or share a fun fact about Canadian history or culture in the geocache logbook.
