While searching for the Peppercorn Place cache, I stumbled upon this lonely coin in the middle of a labyrinth of prickly bushes, the cache was nowhere to be found but it's contents (a couple of scratchies, a few pens and a log book bag) were scattered in a 4 meter radius the only things missing from this scene were the cache itself and the log book. It is a wonder that this coin survived seeing as it was found not inside a cache. What happened here is a mystery that I could not solve but I am happy that the geocoin was not a casualty. Instead it will soon find its way into, what I hope will be, a much more secure cache.
