The mission of this travel bug is to travel the land and sea “in the snow of far-off Northern lands and in sunny tropic scenes”. I thought it would make an interesting trackable.
This key ring is a memento of the Marine Corps 235th birthday in 2010. It is from the III MEF 1ST MAW 3D MLG 3D MARINE DIV MCB. It is the second one of its type that I have activated.
The mission of 3rd Marine Logistics Group is to provide responsive combat logistics support to III MEF and other Marine Forces within their area of operations, and to joint, combined, and federal agencies as directed, through expeditionary means, forward basing and global sourcing in order to sustain supported units during exercises and contingencies.
