I maintain records on my trackables. They have the goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers. That is a target rate of five drops per year for five years, or a drop every 73 days. The average drop rate of my trackables in the US is 124 days, in Europe it is 71 days. As of 27-Feb-24 this trackable had survived for 3.9 years and had been moved by 9 cachers, for an average drop every 159 days, or 2.3 drops per year.
Please keep it moving, then drop it in a safe place!
No permission is needed to leave the U.S. While in the U.S., please drop it at an event, in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban, non-premium cache. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and dry, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.
This travel bug is made of one or more small decorative metal sprockets and washers. They are mostly watch and clock parts sold to steampunk crafters. It is one of a series named for tools or machines that have metal, composite or plastic cogs on sprockets, cogwheels or gears. . Several kinds of motors are listed, but so also are machines that have cogs apart from their motors.

Sat nav decided to go for a walk=about here.
We were held up waiting for muggles to clear the area then the searching recommenced in earnest.
But I must admit we soon sniffed out the prize.
Dropped of Cogs Wristwatch to continue its travels.
Happy travels🐾

Sooooo many possibilities!
Flipping heck, what with the sudden bounciest of our gps and the subtlety of the hide we spent about thirty minuets searching high and low, near and far, without a glimpse of Robin never mind Batman!
Then just as we were about to fly into a flap we spotted a sliver of something familiar.
yer tiz then.
