Ich bin ein Berner Bär und möchte die Welt durchstreifen. Vielleicht schaffe ich es einmal nach Kanada oder Alaska, in eine traumhafte Bären-Region. Aber mir gefällt auch der warme Süden und ich würde mich über ein Foto von deinem jeweiligen Aufenthaltsortes freuen.

I am a Bernese bear and like to travel around the world. Pherhaps one day I come to Canada or Alaska, the dream region for a bear. But I also like the warmth of th south, and I would be glad to receive some photos from where you are at the moment.

Berner Bär / Bernese bear

Der Bär ist das Wappentier von Stadt und Kanton Bern. Der Legende nach soll die Stadt  nach dem ersten Tier  benannt worden sein, das  Stadtgründer Herzog Berchtold v. Zähringen hier geschossen hat. Die Stadt ist auch bekannt für Ihren Bärenpark, wo die freilebenden Bären am Aareufer beobachtet werden können.

The bear is the heraldic animal of the city and  the Kanton of Bern. According to the local legend, Berchtold Duke of Zähringen, the founder of the city of Bern, vowed to name the city after the first animal he met on the hunt, and this turned out to be a bear. The citty of Bern is also well known for ist bear park, where the living bears can be seen along the border of the Aare.
