To visit high places safely and travel the world if possible, eventually returning to the UK.
After a year or so on it's travels it returned to a local cache so, as the first geocoin I ever bought, I grabbed it back to keep in my collection.
I later released a laminated photocopied replica but this did not last long "in the wild"
This coin belongs to Signyred, the current Chairman of West Bromwich Mountaineering Club (www.wbmc.org) & shows his alter ego Captain Cag (the man you can't gag) on a winter climb. Signyred reached the 7030m (23,000ft) summit of Lhakpa Ri, just east of Everest in September 2006 and the Captain Cag coin would also like to visit high places that are not too dangerous. As he would say “The mountains will always be there, the trick is to stay alive so you can enjoy them.”
