Dune Dogs

Welcome to The Barnsley Dash Cache Rally. The aim is simple to cover the most miles from cache to cache, the rules are simple: there are no rules.

Five teams have entered the rally.

• Big Blue 4X4ers, TB8JKH5.
• The Exterminators, TB8JKH0.
• The Dune Dogs, TB8JKGN.
• Corvette Grand Slammers, TB8JKHF.
• Team MMC Red Thunder, TB8JGNX.

Each team setting off on a wet and windy March morning in Barnsley (so just a normal day really) to speed along the highways and bye ways of this far land to find fame and glory (and the best Pork Pies) and be crowned the champions of the inaugural Barnsley Dash Cache Rally. Good luck teams.

Team Profiles.

Big Blue 4X4ers. A team of mums that just love their big blue 4X4. They have practiced for many week on the dreaded school run, and feel that the skills learnt there will help them win this Rally.

The Exterminators. Looks can deceive. This team of eco warriors is out to prove that green is mean. There eco-friendly van is kind to our planet and they are only too pleased to tell you about it. No big fuel guzzling 4X4 for them. No a clean electric motor and wind turbo powered machine for them. (Not sure where the wind power comes from, but they have an awful large amount of bean burritos in that van).

The Dune Dogs. A group of middle aged men who love their 4X4 and have all the kit that they will need to go off road. (As long as there is no mud, because then they will have to wash their pride and joy again).

Corvette Grand Slammers. The misery team who we know nothing about. We can’t even see them with their blacked out windows.

Team MMC Red Thunder. Their car looks cool, but is in fact an old Ford Mondeo with a body kit fitted. And that is not low profile suspension fitted to that car. The car is over loaded because the team have stripped out the interior of the car so that they could fit an old truck engine, so when the ford power plant dies they have a backup.
